Advocating the Arts in Tennessee

Members from our program team traveled to Nashville to participate in the Arts Advocacy Day, sponsored by Tennesseans for the Arts in partnership with one of our Grantors, Tennessee Arts Commission. The event took place at War Memorial Auditorium in Downtown Nashville

We enjoyed meeting speakers like Amy King-Ruggabar, Interim Administrative Director at Tennesseans for the Arts, to learn how we can create a stronger TN through the arts!

Artists, community members, leaders, and advocates from across our state met to learn about arts funding, to gain advocacy training, learn how to use the latest data to strengthen support for the arts in Tennessee, and met with elected officials.

Thank you, Tennessee Arts Commission, for your generous gift to AngelStreet and many other Arts programs in our state.
