Special Deliveries

51 Easter baskets delivered to 46 homes in North Memphis & Graham Heights!

Emily Bennett (North Memphis COC) shares, “I am thankful the sun was shining while we drove our pastel-colored Crewser around the city of Memphis to share some beautifully-donated Easter Baskets with our girls. Chats through doors and waves through windows were little moments I will cherish during this time of social distancing. Easter is a day to celebrate love and hope, and I was able to experience both feelings through delivering on Good Friday. Love our ANGELS!”

Music Director, Joy Freeman, adds, “I’m vividly reminded of how unique and powerful real love is during this season in life. Dropping off Easter Baskets to our precious Angels on Good Friday was simply another pleasant memory deposited in my memory bank. Real love can always be felt. I believe that’s one of the key components that allows our AngelStreet community at large to keep moving forward!”

In early March, a sweet friend of AngelStreet, Kate Jones, signed up to bring dinner during an upcoming rehearsal. Kate has invited AngelStreet many times to sing during her Sunday Morning service, “The Foundry,” at Collierville UMC. The plan was for Kate to bring dinner and provide Easter baskets for each one of our participants. While plans changed and we had to cancel our combined rehearsal at Bickford, Kate and her family still delivered Easter baskets filled with goodies for our team to deliver closer to Easter.

Thank you to the Jones Family!
