There is no booking fee for our current speaker series. About the speaker: Ruth Abigail Smith has been on the founding team of five different organizations and has served in the youth development space for twelve years. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and is a graduate of Furman University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Communications and Music. After moving to Memphis, Tennessee in 2010, she has served as an Education Coordinator at STREETS Ministries and Program Director at SOUL For The City. Additionally, she co-founded and now serves as Executive Director of AngelStreet, an organization dedicated to developing girls as creative leaders through music and mentorship. In addition, she serves on the Executive Board for Memphis Inter-faith Coalition for Action and Hope (MICAH), an organization seeking systemic justice in Memphis, TN. She firmly believes that lasting change is possible through faithful, creative, and courageous leadership.
