AngelStreet is an organization that is founded on Christian principles. Our primary programming focuses on musical training, mentoring, and leadership development. All mentoring and spiritual growth opportunities are based on the Christian faith and we are often invited to perform during worship services and at Christian events. Part Time
Hourly Rate: $18/hour
20-25 hours/week

The Youth Programs Coordinator (YPC) will serve as the primary overseer of all elementary youth development programs and activities. This position is focused on serving students (primarily 3rd-5th grade), families, and the community with excellence. The YPC will report directly to the Youth Programs Manager and work closely with the Music Team as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain relationships with neighborhood schools and greater community surrounding program site,  students, and families
● Create and implement weekly recreational, educational, and/or mentoring activities for elementary school students, specifically both FLOCK and Power Partners
● Gather and maintain program data
● Engage in active contact work including but not limited to, school lunches, school activities, special programs, community events, and partner ministry events
● Provide leadership to other youth program team members
● Attend rehearsals, mentoring days, and special events
● Partner with music team to actively recruit new students during recruitment season (August-September)
● Organize and manage programmatic materials and equipment
● Participate in staff meetings and professional development training
● High School Diploma
● At least 1 year of experience in youth programming
● Committed to the mission of serving girls in communities with limited access to resources
● Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
● Must have written and verbal communication skills, conflict management skills, and computer skills
● Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
● Must have time management and organizational skills
● Must possess interpersonal skills with a diverse range of socioeconomic backgrounds, including but not limited to youth, parents, and key stakeholders
● Ability to organize and maintain detailed records; complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines
● Position may require occasionally lifting objects of 10-25 pounds
● Position may require occasional driving
● Strong preference for those with a youth development or recreation background
● Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
